| If rumours are to be believed then Christopher Nolan’s mind-boggling 2010 sci-fi flick ‘Inception’ starring Leonardo Di Caprio will soon be remade in Hindi and it will feature none other than B’wood’s perfectionist Aamir Khan in the lead role.
Industry insiders revealed to a tabloid that the editor-turned director Shirish Kunder was inspired by the H’wood flick and was working on a similar storyline for the Indian audience. The insiders further added that Farah Khan’s husband wanted Aamir to play the protagonist as Aamir loved acting in different genres that challenged the minds of the audience.
Although, the 38-year-old director who has previously worked with Bollywood’s powerhouses such as Salman Khan (in ‘Jaan-e-Mann’ and the upcoming ‘Kick’) Akshay Kumar (in ‘Jaan-e-Mann and the upcoming ‘Joker’) refused to confirm Aamir’s presence in the movie he did admit that a script for a movie about the human mind was in the works.
At the present, however, Shirish is believed to be busy with his upcoming projects; the Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha starrer 3D film ‘Joker,’ Salman Khan’s ‘Kick’ and Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Common Man’. So, it seems like the audience will have to wait for the desi version of the ‘Inception’ until next year. |
