Rani Mukerji, who was last seen playing a tough cop in YRF flick Mardaani in 2014, will be seen making her comeback to Bollywood with Hichki and the trailer of the film was launched today. Set in Mumbai, the film revolves around Naina Mathur (Rani), young woman suffering from Tourette Syndrome, a neurological disorder, which causes her to involuntarily make a sound like a hiccup from time to time, which tends to either amuse or confound people nearby. When Naina applies for the job of a teacher, the school management is initially reluctant to hire her because of her neurological disorder, but they agree to take a chance on her and give her the responsibility of teaching a class full of rowdy kids. How Naina manages to face this challenge, is what the film seems to be all about.
Rani is absolutely lovable as Naina, who doesn’t let her disorder interfere with her life and we are eager to see the Bong beauty back in action. Fans of Rani are sure to have a great time watching this film. Apart from Rani, Hichki also stars Neeraj Kabi and other actors.
