| If you thought the deluge of TV spots and footage from ‘The Avengers’ was overwhelming, just wait as the marketing department over at Warner Bros is just starting! After releasing a few viral letters and a photo of Bane’s destructive weapon, we now have the newest TV spot for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ as well as some speculation on a certain actor who may be making an appearance in the film. But first the TV commercial.
While the other TV spots have concentrated on the action of the film, this spot focuses more on the relationship between Catwoman and Batman. There seems to be quite a bit of banter when the two get together. What surprised us while watching the TV spot was the fact that while at first we thought Catwoman would be an ally of Bane’s, it looks like in this film, she’ll be on the side of the Caped Crusader.
