Rumour mills were recently rife with reports that Prabhas’ Saaho, which was supposed to clash with Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal and John Abraham’s Batla House on Independence Day, has been postponed and now, the makers of the action-entertainer have confirmed the reports.
Saaho will now release on August 30 and it will clash with Sushant Singh Rajput’s Chhichore and Rajkummar Rao’s Made In China at the box-office.
The spokesperson of Saaho’s producers shares, “We want to bring the best to the audience. For bringing finesse to the action sequences we need some more time. Although we are shifting the date from Independence Day but we want to stick to the month of Independence and patriotism with Saaho. We are dedicated to bringing the biggest movie on the largest scale.”
Directed by Sujeeth, Saaho stars Shraddha Kapoor as the female lead and has been shot in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The movie also features Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mandira Bedi, Chunky Panday, Mahesh Manjrekar, Arun Vijay and Murali Sharma among others in pivotal roles.
